Workforce Attendance for Dubai Non-Desk Teams

GPS check-in with AI face verification from the staff member's phone. No fingerprint readers at the gate, no kiosks, no shared touch surfaces. Multi-site, WPS-ready, and PDPL-compliant by default.

Multi-site · Mobile-first · WPS-ready · PDPL-aligned · Free up to 10 staff

The Dubai workforce doesn't queue at a single gate any more

A fingerprint reader at a single reception worked when everyone came to one office. Dubai workforces — construction across project sites, security across posts, healthcare on shifts, hybrid teams between home and the office — don't fit that shape. The right attendance system records where each staff member actually is, verifies that they are who the record says they are, and produces a clean WPS-ready hours export your payroll system can consume. AiyaHR does that without any hardware at the gate.

GPS check-in

A geofence per site, branch, or post. Staff check in inside the zone; out-of-zone attempts are flagged.

AI face match

Live selfie matched against the enrolled face on every check-in. Stops buddy-punching without a shared scanner.

Phone-based — no kiosks

Works on any modern phone. Offline-capable: check-ins cache locally and sync when connectivity returns.

Shift-aware

AI shift drafting; mandatory rest, prayer break, lunch, and overtime caps applied automatically.

Multi-site, multi-supervisor

Central operations sees every site; each supervisor sees only their own. Strict role-based access.

WPS-ready exports

Hours, overtime, and absences export cleanly into your payroll or bank WPS gateway. AiyaHR does not process payroll directly.

Live operational dashboard

Who is on site right now, where, with what face-match confidence. History on demand, trends per shift and per site.

UAE PDPL handling

Consent-captured, encrypted biometric data, configurable retention, processed on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure.

What is specific to Dubai

Dubai concentrates a set of workforce conditions that exist elsewhere in the country but rarely all at once.

Multi-site is the default, not the exception

Companies here routinely operate across several emirates or several sites within Dubai. Attendance built around a single office is outgrown almost immediately.

Workforces are highly multilingual

A crew may share no common first language. Anything depending on reading detailed instructions on screen will be used inconsistently, which is an argument for a two-tap interaction rather than a form.

Compressed hours for part of the year

Ramadan working hours change for a defined period. A system that cannot express that produces a month of exceptions everyone learns to ignore.

Traffic makes rigid lateness unfair

Commutes across the city are genuinely unpredictable. Patterns over weeks tell you something; a hard cut-off applied to one morning mostly tells you about the road.

WPS is the downstream consumer

Attendance feeds a salary transfer with a fixed format and a deadline. That makes unresolved exceptions a payroll problem on a date rather than an open item.

From decision to live attendance — under two weeks

01

Map your sites

Draw a geofence around every site, branch, or post. 30 minutes per site.

02

Onboard staff

Excel bulk import. Photo enrolment for face matching, 60s per staff member.

03

Daily check-in

Staff check in from their phone at the site; live dashboard updates for supervisors.

04

Review exceptions

Out-of-zone, low-confidence, unusual patterns — flagged for managers, never silently accepted.

05

Export to payroll

WPS-ready hour exports feed your existing payroll system or bank gateway.

Built around UAE compliance, not adapted to it

UAE Labour Law working hours

Daily limits, mandatory rest, prayer break, lunch, and overtime caps per Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021.

Inspection-ready audit trail

Each check-in records face-match confidence, GPS, device fingerprint, and server timestamp. Retained for the legally required period.

UAE PDPL biometric handling

Explicit consent on first use, encryption at rest and in transit, processed on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure, configurable retention.

WPS-ready exports

AiyaHR produces exports your payroll or bank gateway accepts cleanly. We do not dispatch WPS ourselves.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work on sites with poor mobile signal?
Yes. Check-ins cache on the phone and sync when connectivity returns. Face matching runs server-side so older, cheaper phones work fine.
How is this different from a fingerprint system?
Fingerprint readers verify the finger, not the person, and only record presence at one fixed location. GPS + face verifies identity per check-in and confirms the worker's location, so the audit trail is much richer.
Can it handle our multiple branches across Dubai and Abu Dhabi?
Yes. Each branch is its own geofence. Central operations sees every branch; each branch manager sees only their own. Strict data isolation by default.
Where is the data processed?
On enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure, encrypted at rest and in transit. The primary processing region is outside the UAE, so transfers carry the safeguards UAE PDPL Article 22 requires, and a data-processing addendum is available on request. We do not send biometric data to third-party AI providers.
Is there a free tier?
Yes — Start is free for up to 10 active staff with the full feature set including face matching. Paid plans run from AED 3 per Managed Employee/month on Core up to AED 15 per Connected Employee/month on Intelligence — billed annually, minimum 10 combined employees. Intelligence adds UAE payroll, recruitment and performance. Hosting included.
