Workforce Management for UAE Field Service Teams

Technicians, maintenance crews, and field engineers visit customer sites all day. AiyaHR records who arrived where, when, with face + GPS verification — no kiosks, no shared scanners, no paper job sheets.

Field service workforces don't have a single gate

A UAE field service team — HVAC technicians, IT support engineers, telecom field crews, lift maintenance — runs across dozens of customer sites a day. The dispatcher in the back office needs to know who actually arrived at each call, how long they were there, and whether the visit closed. A shared scanner at the depot tells you nothing about any of it. AiyaHR records per-customer-site GPS check-in with face verification from the technician's own phone, and a live job board in the dispatch office. Billable hours match presence; SLAs are evidenced.

GPS check-in per customer site

A geofence per recurring customer site, or an ad-hoc GPS lock for one-off visits. Per-visit duration recorded.

Face verification per visit

Live selfie matched against the enrolled face. The customer site owner sees a real technician, not a dispatched ID.

Phone-based, offline-capable

Check-ins cache locally if the customer site has poor signal and sync when back online. Works on any modern phone.

Light job awareness (optional)

Optional: log what was done at each site. Useful for SLA evidence and customer billing. Not required.

Live dispatch board

See where every technician is right now and which job they're on. Reroute from the dashboard.

Working hours + travel time

Travel-time and on-site time tracked separately. Overtime calculations exclude travel where your contract requires.

Customer billing extract

Per-site hours can be exported for customer billing — matches what payroll sees, so disputes drop.

UAE PDPL + WPS-ready

Encrypted biometric and location data, WPS-ready exports for your payroll or bank gateway.

Why field service breaks fixed-site attendance

Field teams have no site to geofence. The job moves, which changes what verification can even mean.

The site is a job, not an address

A technician might attend six locations in a day, none of them a permanent company site. Verification has to bind to the job rather than to a fixed perimeter, or every legitimate visit reads as out-of-zone.

Travel time is working time

The gap between two jobs is paid work, not absence. Systems that only record presence at a location leave the largest part of a field engineer’s day unaccounted for.

Signal is worst exactly where the work is

Basements, plant rooms, remote sites. Offline caching is not a nice-to-have here; it is the difference between a usable record and a day of missing check-ins.

The customer wants proof of attendance

Field work is frequently billed against a service-level agreement, so the attendance record doubles as evidence for the client. That raises the bar from internal convenience to contractual.

From dispatch to billing

01

Set up recurring customer sites

Geofence recurring customer locations. For one-off visits, the technician's GPS becomes the record.

02

Onboard the team

Bulk import; photo enrolment for face matching; document checklist (visa, professional licence).

03

Per-visit check-in

Technician checks in on arrival at the customer site by face + GPS. The dispatcher sees them light up on the board.

04

Per-visit check-out

Check-out on leaving. Visit duration recorded against the customer site. Optional job notes attached.

05

Payroll + customer billing

WPS-ready hours export for payroll. Per-customer-site reports for billing if you bill by time.

Built around UAE compliance, not adapted to it

WPS-ready hour exports

Working hours, overtime, travel time, and absences export cleanly into your payroll or bank WPS gateway.

UAE Labour Law working hours (per Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021)

Daily limits, mandatory rest, overtime caps for technicians driving between sites all day.

UAE PDPL biometric handling

Consent-captured, encrypted face data, configurable retention, processed on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure.

Customer billing audit

Per-visit GPS + face + time evidence; resolves billing disputes about whether a technician was actually on-site.

Frequently asked questions

Can we bill customers per-site based on the hours recorded?
Yes — per-customer-site hours are reportable. Many field services companies use the same record for payroll, customer billing, and SLA evidence.
What about technicians who do multiple sites in a day?
Each site is a separate check-in. The dashboard shows the day's sequence of sites per technician. Travel time between sites is tracked separately from on-site time.
How does it handle ad-hoc one-off customer visits?
For one-off visits, the technician's GPS at check-in becomes the record. Configurable: the dispatcher can require a customer site address be entered.
Do we need to install hardware at customer sites?
No. The technician uses their own phone; no hardware is installed at any customer site. This matters a lot when sites change frequently.
Is there a free tier?
Yes — Start is free for up to 10 active technicians with the full feature set. Paid plans run from AED 3 per Managed Employee/month on Core up to AED 15 per Connected Employee/month on Intelligence — billed annually, minimum 10 combined employees. Intelligence adds UAE payroll, recruitment and performance.
